History

Estudios Comerciales e Industriales de Maquinaria S.A. (EMSA) was founded in the year 1989, as a company specialising in the field of road construction. From the start, and over the course of its now more than 20-year long history, EMSA has specialised and demonstrated differentiated value in the business of machinery and equipment employed in the asphalt industry, having secured the exclusive distribution in Spain of the brands WIRTGEN, VÖGELE and HAMM (now the WIRTGEN GROUP) and the asphalt plants AMMANN-SIM, all of which are leading European companies in their trades.

In recent years EMSA has complemented its range of products by focusing on market sectors with significant growth potential. It therefore deals with KLEEMANN, the German manufacturer of crushing, screening and recycling equipment that currently also belongs to the WIRTGEN GROUP, the WIRTGEN-STREUMASTER lime and cement spreaders, the TESMEC trenchers, and lastly the special cleaning equipment produced by BEAM manufacturers.
